  • What a charming headline. It sounds like a Halloween costume - Wheelchair Woman! A great way for MSNBC to further depersonalize a group of citizens often depersonalized already (I'm one of them, so I know firsthand.), all in the name of grabbing more eyeballs.

  • Good for her, I say. On one hand, I doubt her volunteerism sprang solely from altruism: She strikes me as intelligent; she knew that her reading to a group of small kids in school would garner publicity.

  • On one hand, this man clearly saved a child from abduction - likely from rape and death as well. That's to be commended. On the other hand, he committed a criminal act simply by being in the United States illegally.
